Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actress. Her best-known role is as Martha Hanson in the FX spy period series The Americans. She received both critical praise and nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award for this. In addition, she has appeared in Ryan Murphy's cult series Feud and Bette & Joan & Hollywood. Wright was born in Sunderland on the 12th July 1976. She was raised in Sunderland by her adopted family. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was a student at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as The Barrow Group, both in New York City. When she was auditioning for parts, she was serving as a waitress. Scuba diving was her passion, had put her in an insanity when diving at in the sea, she suffered an heart attack. A few days later, her loyal family gathered at her hospital bed to leave. Wright was born in Sunderland on the 12th of July in 1976. Her adoptive parents brought her up there. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was a student at The Barrow Group and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute which is located situated in New York City. Alison Fesq Haislip is an American actress who was a former TV host on Attack of the Show! The Original G4 Network as well as the reality show on NBC, The Voice.
