Yael is the Australian living in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael was awarded her NIDA diploma. Her early work experience has enabled her to meet and work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's move to New York City began when her production was critically acclaimed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael is co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery is a studio located situated in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the business supports the development of new writing as well as imaginative, inventive ventures.
