Sutton Foster has won Tony Awards for her roles as a character in Anything Goes & Thoroughly Modern Millie. The first time she appeared in a television show on Star Search at age 15 as well as has performed as a character in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU as well as Royal Pains. as a solo performer, Sutton has performed across the US as well as internationally along with the musical direction of Michael Rafter... performing songs from her debut solo CD "Wish" along with her second album "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." The singer has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub as well as many more. Ball State University conferred her with an Honorary PhD in the year 2011. In addition to being a professor and advisor at the Department of Theatre and Dance She was also conferred this honor by Ball State University. She has been starring in TV Land's "Younger" produced by Darren Star, since March 2015.
